an agency. It kind of found us.

MW Design Studio is a creative studio based in Manvel, Texas, working with clients across the country. We started by helping a church in Raleigh, NC, and quickly realized that small businesses everywhere need more than just a vendor. They need a real partner. We bring Texas hospitality to national digital strategy.

Our Story

How it all started

In late 2024, we were asked to help Believers' Gathering Place, a small church in Raleigh, NC, with their website. Neither of us had any professional experience doing something like that. But we said yes anyway.

That one project changed everything. We learned by doing. We made mistakes. We figured things out. And somewhere in the middle of it all, we realized we were building something much bigger than a single project.

We saw that small businesses and organizations often get left behind. They either can't afford large agencies or they end up with cookie-cutter templates that have nothing to do with who they actually are. We wanted to change that.

So MW Design Studio was born, not from a business plan, but from a real need we saw and a genuine desire to help.

Two people. One vision.

We're not a faceless agency. When you work with MW Design Studio, you work directly with us, Sheri and Tierra. No account managers, no handoffs, no getting lost in the shuffle.

We work on everything together. Rather than splitting projects between us, we both stay involved from the first conversation through launch and beyond, across website builds, copy, Google Business Profiles, and ongoing care.

Tierra White

Tierra is the voice. She has a natural talent for storytelling and a real understanding of what makes people connect, which shows up in how our sites are written, structured, and paced.

She believes a website should sound like the people behind it, not like everyone else in the industry.

Sheri McDowell

Sheri is the builder. With a background in technology and a sharp eye for structure, she turns ideas into functional, well-built digital experiences.
